Black Sclera Contact Lenses
Black sclera contact lenses are a strange contact lens that you must see to believe. These black scleral contact lenses are called “full sclera” or “scleral”. Both mean they cover the entire eye, including the white around the pupil that is normally not covered by a contact lens. These colored contact lenses are not for the faint of heart!
Not only does this provide a very strange effect, they are also very expensive and instantly recognizable, especially in black. While some manufacturers do make other colors of sclera contact lenses, the black scleral’s are by far the best selling and most popular full scleral covering contact lenses.
If you’ve never seen the full black sclera contact lenses I have a picture. Keep in mind, that these sclera lenses are extremely expensive and difficult to get into your eye. If you’ve never put contact lenses in your eyes before, these aren’t the best place to start. These contact lenses are great for a Gothic Halloween costume. Here are some black sclera contact lens pictures.
We have a limited supply of black sclera contact lenses for sale. You can buy them here.
Very creepy!
I wanna get these so bad!!!

If you look online you can get these for about 120 dollars ^_^; still expensive thought….
everything i’ve found costs anywhere from $125-$140 PER contact. why cant it be that much for a flippin pair, eh?
they have them for 145 a pair on lensmart… i’m just worried about how long i can wear them for. i guess i’ll have to ask the doctor all the info i need to know. seems like no one really has the answers XP
Okay so these contacts are hot!!!! My problem is the price. I did find some contacts with a different design for $ 34.99 per contact. They are lame though. I bet you they will go down the sooner it is till halloween. I hope so, because i want them
The $145 is PER LENS at Lensmart. I have not found anything cheaper in the Sclera style!

You will see normal, the reason they appear all black and yu can still see is because you only use the black part of your eye to see…the only ones that actually effect your vision are the all white contacts. All though the ones I had did effect my peripheral vision a little bit.
You will not be able to find these much cheaper than $250 a pair. You will see they go for $120-$145 a lens. you can just goodle black sclera and you will find many places that sell them
I’ve got them here http://www.discount-lenses.com/blog/products-page/colored/black-sclera-contact-lenses Best prices I could find.
Most sclera lenses are very expensive, and often need to be custom-fit to make sure you can actually wear them. Unless you decide these lenses are absolutely necessary, or you have the funds to buy them on a whim, I wouldn’t recommend them for recreational use. They can be extremely uncomfortable if placed on the eye improperly, and many users (including myself) can only bear them for a few hours at a time. I used them for my job last year at a haunted house, where most employees have costume contacts, and while they were impressive, I felt afterward that they were not a good investment; one ripped just days after my final night at the haunted house (I had only owned them for two months). Aesthetically pleasing, but overall, you’d be better off buying cheaper pupil lenses instead.
