Sharing Lenses Can Be Dangerous
There are many risks involved with sharing prescription drugs, everyone knows that. What a lot of people don’t know is that there are equal risks involved in sharing contact lenses. As you may or may not know, if you buy contact lenses you must have a prescription. This includes costume contact lenses and colored contact lenses. The reason for this is because every contact lens you buy is specifically fitted to your particular eye.
If you share contact lenses, you will be sharing your bacteria and germs. You might also be sharing microscopic pieces of dirt that you’re now transferring into your friends eye.
With those two possibilities you could easily transfer your contact lenses and cause your friend to get an eye infection. Eye infections are very dangerous.
Another problem is that since your contacts are specific as to how much power they have per eye, you could easily cause your friend to get dizzy, fall down, bust their head and need to be rushed to the emergency room. How is that for a fun Halloween party?
